In a luxury Manhattan residence built next to an urban park, materials and textures in the building and the condominium were inspired by both nature and the city. High rise buildings within view from the windows influenced the geometry of the furnishings. The formerly “white box apartment” that was devoid of architectural features has completely disappeared, replaced by curving walls, rough chiseled stone backdrops, sustainable bamboo floors, and richly textured materials.
