Designing a 9,000 square foot country estate in Connecticut is a wonderful project, especially when it’s for a longtime client. The challenge was in reusing furniture the homeowner loves and has brought from home to home, while creating a fresh look. In contrast to her previous home, a pre-war apartment in New York City, this house is airier and brighter, with larger spaces to accommodate pieces with more generous proportions.
